PROBLEMS OF PRODUCTION.

On more than one occasion I have referred to the particular importance which attaches to the meetings of banks which have their headquarters in the Provinces, and not least to those which happen to have their head- quarters in the districts where industrial depression has been most pronounced. A good illustration of this truth is afforded by the wholly admirable speech delivered last Tuesday by Mr. A. Allan Paton, the Chairman for this year of Martins Bank Limited.
