Edmonds. With Introduction and Notes. (Trfibner.)—This is a book representative of the poetry of modern Greece, "a selection," as it is described on the title-page, "from recent and contemporary poets." The present edition contains eight supplemental poems, the most interesting among them being the "Elegy on George Gennadius," by George Zalakostas. The poet and the subject were both heroes of the War of Independence.—Mrs. Dymond is the tenth volume of the uniform edition of " Miss Thackeray's Works."
