Nothing Personal

SIR,—Mr. Maclnnes's review of Nothing Personal contained two such important errors of fact that I feel they deserve correction.

He seems to be saying that I used a collection of old photographs from my portfolio, and that Mr. Baldwin had no particular idea of them in mind when I wrote his essay. Almost all of the photo graphs were taken specifically for this book during the past year and a half. Mr. Baldwin and I worked together on the same theme throughout the creation of the book in an attempt to illuminate each other's work.
