On the 22d, at St. Mary's, 111 ixham, James Edward, younger son of the Rev. James Knollis, Vicar of Penn, Bucks, to Elizabeth Olive, daughter of the Rev. Ro- bert Floldsworth, Vicar of Brixham, and a Prebendary of the Cathedral Church of Exeter.

On the 22d, at Wrotham, Kent, John ]iourryan Broadley, Esq., late Captain Seventeenth Lancers, to Eleanor Sarah, daughter of the Rev. Charles Lane, M.A., Rector of Wrotham, Rural Dean, Re.

On the 27th, at St. Mary's, New Shoreham, by the Right Rev. the Lord Bishop of Ripon, the Rev. Arthur Char les Wilson, M.A., Student of Christ Church, Oxford, to Mary Henrietta, third daughter of Sir Robert Alexander Chernside, M.D., Re., of Paris and Boulogne, formerly Physician to the British Embassy at Paris.

On the 28th, at St. John's, Edinburgh, the Rev. Jatnes N. Bennie, Curate of Ac- ton, Cheshire, to Mary, youngest daughter of the late Sir James Spittal, of Justice Hall.

On the 29th, at St. Peter's, Pindico, Henry Richard Farrer, Esq., Fellow of Mer- ton College, Oxford, fourth son of W. Ferrer, of Ingleborongh, Yorkshire, one of the retired Masters in Chancery, to Eliza Maria, Second daughter of the Right Hon. Sir Thomas Francis Fremantle, Bart., of Swanbourne, Bucks.

Lately, at St. George's Church, Hanover Square, the Hon. Robert Charles Her- bert, fourth son of the late Earl of Pore is, to Anna Maria, only child and heiress of the late Edward Cludde, Esq., of Orleton, Shropshire.

DEATHS.

On the 28th April, at Umballa, in India, Albert Tollemache, Esq., of the Bengal Artillery, second son of the late Hon. Arthur Crnsar Tollemache, and nephew of the present Earl of Dysart; in his 21st year.

On the 4th June, at the camp, near Varna, occasioned by an accidental fall from his horse, Captain Albany French Wallace, of the Seventh Royal Fusiliers, third son of Colonel Robert Wallace, Kit., formerly of the King's Dragoon Guards, and of Worthing, Sussex; in his 334 year.

On the night of the 7th, Henry Athorpe, midshipman of II.M.'s ship Odin, third SOD of J. C. Athorpe, Esq , of Dinnington Hall, Yorkshire, from a wound in the lungs, from a rifle-ball, whilst nobly encouraging his men, under a tremendous fire, in an unsuccessful attack on Gamier Carleby, in Finland. On the 17th, drowned at Dunstaffnage, Argyllshire, William Campbell, Esq. late of the Ninety-second Highlanders, third son of the late Sir Donald Campbell, of Dimataffnage, Bait in his 234 year.

On the 17th, at Cheltenham, Sophia Anne, wife of J. Bayley, Esq., daughter of the late Hon. and Right Hon. Colonel Robert Ward, of Bangor Castle, County Down. On the 20th, at Dunira, Perthshire, Georgians Catherine, eldest daughter of Sir David Dundas, of Beechwood, Bart.; in her 11th year.

On the 20th, at Coed, near Dolgelly, North Wales, Henry Richards, Esq., young- est son of the late Lord Chief Baron Richards; in his 52d year. On the 21st, at Burwood Park, Captain Roger Frederick, late of her Majesty's Forty-third Regiment, and youngest son of the late Sir John Frederick, Bart.; in his 64th year.

On the 224, William Birch, Esq., of Wanstead, Essex ; in his 91st year.

On the 24th, at Crevenagh, near Omagh, the Hon. Mrs. Stuart, uife of the Hon. A. G. Stuart, only brother of the late Earl of Castle Stuart.

On the 25th, at Chessel House, Hants, Elizabeth Langford. widow of the late Sir William Henry Richardson.

On the 27th, Eliza, widow of the late E. G. Barnard, Esq., M.P., of Gosfield Hall, Essex.

On the 28th, Mrs. Esther Martha Buckney, of Bankside, Southwark ; in her 91st year.
