Tuesday's Gazette announces that Mr. Abercromby has been created Baron Dunfermline, of Dunfermline, in the county of Fife.

Mr. G. S. Stafford Jerningham has been appointed Secretary of Le- gations to the Court of Spain.

Mr. William Russell, the new Accountant-General of the Court of Chancery, in the room of the late William George Adam, Esq., is son of Lord William Russell, and nephew to the Duke of Bedford. The emoluments of the office fluetuate, but it is understood to be one of the most lucrative connected with the Court of Chancery. Mr. Russell is a barrister of about twelve years' standing, and is married to a daughter of Lady Charlotte Bury.—.21/Orning Herald.
