RAILWAYS IN LOMBARDY AND PIEDMONT.

Official documents issued by the respective Governments exhibit the movement of railway traffic in the two countries-retrogressing in one, making great strides in the other. In the first nine months of 1854, the receipts in the Lombardo-Venetian Kingdom were 5,413,506 lire ; for the same period of 1855, they were only 5,143,239. In Piedmont, for the that eleven months of 1854, the receipts from railways and the steamers on the Logo Maggiore were 6,447,408 franca; for the eleven months of 1855, no less than 9,497,484.
