A CENTENARY BONUS.

The directors of the Bank of Australasia are marking the occasion of the centenary of that Institution by declaring a bonus of 2 per cent. to the proprietors from a special fund which has been accumulated over several years, while the staff have been granted a bonus of 74 per cent. As regards the ordinary dividend, profits have enabled a distribution of 74 per cent. less tax for the year, with £178,690 carried forward. A transfer has been made to contingencies account from which provision for bad and doubtful debts has been made. The Reserve Fund remains at £2,475,000 and the Currency Reserve at £2,000,000.
