In the Paris papers of Thursday is a telegraphic despatch,

reporting that Ge- neral Lamoriciare had made two successful resents against the Arabs.

The Pre-sse states that 11,200 troops have embarked for Algeria; the Constifei- tionnel, that M. liamont has been sent by M. Guizot to Tangier, with a letter to the Emperor of Morocco, notifying the intention of the French Government to pursue Abd-el-Kader even into the Emperor's territory.

The fifth anniversary of the Ministry of October 29th WBB celebrated yesterday at St. Cloud by a grand dinner, to which the King had invited all the members of the Cabinet. Each year this anniversary is marked by a new advancement in the Legion of Honour accorded to the Ministers who have not yet arrived at the highest grade. As there was nothing more to do in this respect for Marshal Soult, the promotion was granted to his son, the Marquis of Daatia.—Consti- eutionneL

A letter from Florence of October 22d says that numerous emigrations from the Roman into the Tuscan territory continue; the prosecutions of a court-martial at Rimini being incessant and severe. The property of the emigrants is seques- tered: the estates of Count Beltrami, one of the richest inhabitants of Bagna- cavallo, have been confiscated.

Adviees from Malta of the 22d October state that Admiral Parker had de- spatched the war-steamer Locust to Naples, to remonstrate with the Neapolitan Government upon the late singular imposition of quarantine on vessels from Malta and the Ionian Islands, under the pretence that yellow fever existed at Malta. Meanwhile, however, as we learn by letters of the same date from Na- ples, the new quarantine-regulations have been considerably relaxed.
