This is a sufficiently convenient arrangement when it is supplemented, as it is in this case, by some consecutive instruction under such general headings as "Annuals," "Perennials," and "Seed- Sowing." In some respects the book might be improved. Less than a page, for instance, is given to the apple. Perhaps it would have been better to keep the fruits and flowers separate.
