year. He was accidentally drowned in crossing the river at Long's Creek, in conse- quence of a sudden flood, which overflowed the bridge.

Died on Monday last, of inflammatory fever, after a few days' illness, in his 21st year, Mr. HENRY WELLS, pupil of Mr. Dixon, surgeon, &c., Great Maryiebone Street, Port- land Place, and son of the late Henry Wells, Esq, of Malden, Essex, merchant. He was a young man of groat application and professional promise, and was much respected and regretted by 'all his friends.
