Moron's Standard Penny Readings. (Moron.) — This selection is edited by Mr.

T. Hood, and was originally intended by him to embrace only the writings of his father. But the publisher has suggested a wider choice, and this advice has been followed. Browning's Ride from Ghent to Aix, Lamb's Dissertation on Roast Pig, Shelley's Skylark, and Tennyson's Brook, are the chief contributions to the volume besides those of Hood's own, and the quality of the selection is a sufficient rea- son for our giving it that notice which we have not accorded to its name- sakes.
