At the visitation in Derry last week, the clergy complained

of want of funds to repair their churches and enlarge grave-yards ; but the Bishop told them he was afraid they should wait for the surplus fund, although very unlikely in their time to yield any produce. The Re- verend R. Hume preached the visitation sermon. The Bishop de- dined the usual fees from the clergy, and said he did not intend to de- rand them in future.
