WILD CATS.

Sllt,—It would be interesting to know whether the real wild cat still exists, if your excellent writer on animals would turn his attention to that question. Last year I asked an eminent naturalist, and he said it was doubtful whether the cases reported were not those of domestic cats run wild, or of their descendants of one or more generations, which would assume some of the characteristics of the original wild cat.—I am,
