August 13th you say that there are "a few grouse even in Shropshire, the most southerly in the world." May I point out that grouse may be found, not perhaps in very large numbers, but yet sufficient to afford good sport, in Radnorshire and Breconshire ? The difference in latitude may not be very great, but the places I have in mind lie from twenty to thirty miles to the south of the most southerly point of Shropshire.—I am, Sir, &c., Hereford.
