A QUESTION FOR MINERS.

[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR ."l FIR,—" What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander." The miners are going to go on strike next February unless the Government nationalize the mines, and the public must do without coal. What would be said, I ask, if the coal-owners decided to lock out the men and close down their pits because the Government do not carry out some particular piece of legislation on which they had set their hearts?
