Dr. Goebbels' deputy, in an endeavour to placate the Chinese

Minister in Berlin, who protested against the tone of a reference to Chinese in Herr Hitler's Mein Kampf, is understood to have promised that Herr Hith r would withdraw or amend the passage in the next edition. That is interesting, in view of the repeated ex- planations that Mein Kampf has become the Bible of Nazi Germany, and as a sacrosanct volume must be taken or left for ever precisely . as it stands. Was Dr. Goebbels' deputy's promise authorised by the author ? The question is pertinent, for if one amendment is made a great many others could and should be. The revision of Mein Kampf would be an event of international importance.
