Speculations are interesting because they reveal more about the speculator

than anything else. I have heard Lord Cran- borne and Sir Archibald Sinclair mentioned, and a host of others. One particularly interesting name was Lord Snell ; after all, he has been a Minister and Chairman of the L.C.C., he can make first-rate speeches and he is very wise. But all the world will soon know Mr. Churchill's choice.
