The river Ouse has burst its eastern hank near Lynn.

The extent of the breach, which is owing to a very high tide, is about 140 yards. Great alarm prevails in the neighbourhood ; but no accounts of the arable amount of the damage have been received.

The stormy weat'ter which has prevailed for the last four days has done n. ul injury to the shipping on the coast.
