On Thursday, the Queen and Prince Consort went to the French Play. Prince Albert paid an official visit on Saturday to the Datchy of Corn- wall office.

The Dutchess of Cambridge, accompanied by the Princess Mary, Prince Frederick of Hesse, and a party of ladies and gentlemen, went to see the Polytechnic Institution on Monday, the National Gallery on Thursday, the Zoological Gardens yesterday.

Prince Alexander Menedorff left the Palace on Thursday, for South- ampton, on his way to Portugal.
