Mr. H. Fenwick, member for Sunderland, has accepted the office

of Civil Lord of the Admiralty. We dare say he will make a decent one, and it was scarcely necessary to add that Lord Palmerston intended to appoint him. Suppose he did. He ap- pointed a good many Bishops, but they are not the most efficient the Church ever had, and a good many Under-Secretaries, but the country needs a directory to assist it in remembering most of their names.
