20 JULY 1833, Page 2

The Parisians are busy in preparing for the celebration of

the anniversary of the Three Days of July. The Opposition journals are endeavouring to persuade the National Guard to get up a petition or remonstrance to the King against the projected forti- fications of the capital ; but it is thought that they will not succeed.

General BUGEAND has returned from Palermo, after safely landing the Dutchess DE BERRI and her baby, and giving them into the hands of Count LUCCHESI PALLI himself; who, it ap- pears, has not run away after all. The meeting must have been a curious one. The General took a formal receipt for the whole consignment from the Prince CAMPO FORMIO, the Viceroy of Sicily, and the Count LUCCHESI'S father. The Dutchess is not to be received at present at the Court of Naples.
