The British Army on the Western Front has had an
uneventful week. The Australians irr.de a successful local attack on Wednesday south of the Somme. In Palestine last Sunday the Turks, strongly reinforced by Germans, attacked our positions to the north and east of Jericho. They were beaten off with great loss, and left over five hundred prisoners in our hands. In Albania the Italians and French have continued to press strdily northward through the rugged hills north of Beret towards Elbaitur.
