We have had as dull markets at both our Cloth-halls

this week as we ever remember at this season of the year ; and the manufacturers complain heavily that they cannot obtain remunerating prices, and in consequence mmy of them are curtailing their operations ; although the stocks are exceedingly light, and if any thing like an average business was doing, would he a very inadequate supply. In the ware- houses also business continues dull. The few buyers who have lately been at the market purchase very lightly, compared to what they have done in former seasons ; preferring buying only what they immediately require, to laying in their principal stocks to meet the spring demand.— Leeds Mercury, March 20.
