Tun Royal Family remain quietly at Osborne receiving but few visitors, and those being social intimates more than dignified courtiers. Admiral Sir Thomas Briggs, Sir Charles Eastlake, and the Dean of Winchester, have each been at Osborne Palace for two or three days.

Thursday, the 18th of March, was the fourth birthday of the Princess Louisa ; and the anniversary was duly marked by a morning serenade to the little Princess, and by evening entertainments for all the children.

The Duchess of Rent came to her Palace in London, from Frogmore, on Wednesday ; visited the Duchess of Gloucester, at Gloucester House, and returned 'home.
