On Thursday the Swedish steamer ' Gebeland,' laden with bacon

and other provisions, was brought into the Tees in the custody of a British patrol boat. The vessel is thus the first capture under the provisions of the Order in Council establish- ing the British blockade of the German coasta. The Gebeland's' cargo was destined for a German port The, steamer was seized off the Shetland Islands. The cargo, it isi stated, will be unshipped and sold under the terms of the: British Order in Council.
