INDUSTRIAL ASSURANCE PROGRESS.

Mr. Walter H. Brown, who is retiring from the chairmanship of the London and Manchester Assurance Company after over So years' service, had some interesting figures to give the members at Wednesday's meeting, showing the growth of industrial assurance in this country. There are now over 9o,000,000 industrial assurance policies in force in the British Isles. In the London and Manchester's industrial branch premiums increased last year by £46,734 to £1,850,256, and the sum now assured under the company's industrial policies is no less than L34,5oo,000. * * * *
