Mr. Dent has designed a special type for the "Renaissance

Library," of which the first volume just published is Marlowe and Chapman's Hero and Leander (J. M. Dent and Sons, 105. 6d. net and 12s. 6d. net). The type is easily read, and for this reason satisfactory, even though what the designer calls its "idiosyn- crasy "-is a little obtrusive. But the poem itself would be a compensation for far worse faults than this.
