under the protection of the eagles. They have taken Viterbo ; they are going to Orvieto. This important step is communicated in the following official telegram-

" Perugia, October 19, 11.40 a. m.—The French General having an- nounced from Rome that Orvieto will be reoocupied by his troops on the 22d, the whole population of tolsn and country is hastening, with the local authorities, to subscribe an address to Victor Emmanuel 'and Napoleon, which has already received more than 3000 signatures. Nothing can convey an idea of the wonderful unanimity asao this address."

From Berlin, under date yesterday, we learn that the Prince Regent will not be accompanied to Warsaw today by;his Foreign Minister ; "Baron Schleintz, being indisposed, will be represented by the "Under Secretary of State, M. Grunert."
