Haringey Domestic Violence Service was set up in 2001 as

a result of a multi-agency review of domestic violence services in the borough. . . . The Equalities and Diversity Unit is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated person to continue to deliver this work through the maternity cover period. Responsibilities include delivery of a borough-wide strategy and integrated domestic violence policies as part of a multi-partnership initiative and to co-ordinate the work of the Domestic Violence Joint Commissioning Group. . . Applications are particularly welcome from women, black and minority ethnic groups and disabled people as they are currently under-represented. (Guardian Society, 10 September)
