The Bank of Ireland has declared a dividend of 41

per cent. to the holders of Stock for the last half year.

Two hundred and fic;;), insolvents were discharged in Ireland this year, whose assets and dividends did not amount to sixpence in the pound. The sum paid, and to be paid, to the holders of Irish tobacco, en- titled to compensation for what they held by the law which prohibited them from growing it in future, amounts to 500,0001.-Cork Reporter.
