Some of the Northern Americans are taking fright at the

prospect of war with England, and naturalizing themselves as citizens of the Rause Towns, intending to carry on their trade for the future under the neutral flag of Hamburg or Bremen. It is clear at least that these gentlemen do not des- pise the naval power of England.
