The Bishop of London and the Secretary of the recent

Episcopal Synod have explained that the reports of committees on which we commented last week, recommending all sorts of revolutionary and silly proceedings, were not adopted by the Synod, but only printed and ordered to be circulated. This was as we ourselves understood it last week. The Bishop of Grahamstown, who was the secretary, seems to state that the report of the last session was altogether very hasty and imperfect. As he promises us soon the various committee reports in full, we only hope that we may find that even Bishops are sometimes painted as more fussy than they are.
