net.) —We feel sure that our readers will be glad to learn of the republication in a permanent shape of the two striking articles upon Disraeli which appeared in these columns on November 30th and December 7th. At a time when so many young politicians regard Disraeli almost as a demi-god, it cannot but be useful that the other view of him should find expression. Lord Cromer has stated this view with moderation but at the same time with conviction, and especially with a deep insight into Disraeli's character.
