Forthcoming James

Sir: Byron Rogers is very kind to me in your Christmas Books section (7 Decem- ber), but he is not quite kind enough to publishers. I was ill, but I am now writing again, and my next novel comes out through the able and perceptive Messrs Gollancz in the spring. Mr Rogers by now has the last clean copy in captivity of Men Went to Cattraeth, so there is no need for your readers to sacrifice their precious possessions.
