Our Parish Priest. By 31. P. C. Morton. (H. Milford.

2s. thi. not.)—This little devotional anthology has been compiled with care and good taste. It is divided into sections named after the various parts of the Church and the festivals, and contains good and familiar pieces from George Herbert, Bunyan, Fuller, Words- worth, and Kohl° among the writers of the past, as well its modern fragments. Wo are glad to ace Sir Thomas Brown's remark : " At my devotion I love to use the civility of my knee, my hat and my hand, with all those outward and sensible motions which may express or promote my invisible devotion." Tho qualifying clause at the end is important.
