The Co-operative Movement in Russia. By J. V. Bubnoff. (Manchester

Co-operative Printing Society.)—This instructive little book shows that Cu-operation has gained a firm footing among the Ruesian peasantry, and that the network of village societies is supported by strong central institutions—such-as the Moscow People's Bank and Union of Consumers' Societies. Siberian butter is largely produced and exported by Co-operative creameries. Apart from its economio importance, Co-operation doubtless exerts n steadying influence in these revolutionary days in Russia.
