CURRENT LITERATURE.

We have to acknowledge the receipt from the Clarendon Press at Oxford of the Text of the Greek Testament on which the readings adopted by the Revisers of the Authorised Version are founded. This is an immense convenience for all who are making a study of the Revised Version ; and the contemporaneous issue of this very neat Greek Text by the Clarendon Press, must be regarded as a most timely and meritorious deed.

We have also received from Messrs. Macmillan the Text of the Now Testament, as it has been revised by the joint labours of Dr. Wostcott and Dr. Hort. The Introduction and Appendix aro promised very soon, in a separate volume. Tho Greek Text is exquisitely printed. Indeed, for clearness and elegance of typo, this volume could not be surpassed. We observe that in a very large number of important instances, the translators of the Revised New Testament have adopted the same readings as Dr. Wostcott and Dr. Hort.
