Tam programme of the Queen's progress home last week was kept almost to the letter. Her Majesty duly visited Hull and Grimsby, receiving the felicitations of the authorities; and reached King's Cross station soon after half. pastfive,—a few minutes under the time fixed for her arrival. She went on to Windsor at once, by the Great Western Railway ; and arrived at the Castle about fifteen minutes before seven.

At a Privy Council held on Wednesday, Parliament was ordered to be further prorogued from the 19th to the 16th November. After the Coun- cil, the Duke of Newcastle, the Marquis of Lansdowne, and Sir James Graham, bad audiences. Admiral Virgin, the Swedish Ambassador, had an audience on Monday, to present his letters of recall.

Among the guests of her Majesty, have been the Duke of Newcastle, the Earl of Clarendon, Admiral Virgin, Prince Victor Hohenlohe, the Bishop of New Zealand, Lord Burghersh, the Prussian Minister, Count Bernsto4 and Sir James Clark.
