[To the Editor of THE SPECTATOR] Sm, — When I read the

editorial articles in your issue of October 7th I felt I might safely leave it to others to express the indignation I felt—and hoped for better things in The Spectator of last week. There is little improvement.

I have been a regular reader of your paper for years, and appreciated its breadth of outlook—but I am now telling my newsagent not to send it to me again. If it reflects the views of " Liberalism "—so called, then it is no wonder that the Party is moribund and we may hope for its speedy death.—
