Plain sailing when exchanging currency

One experienced mariner found a better way to exchange and transfer funds overseas.

Keen Sailor, Graham Coleman, found his particular choice of yacht, a Beneteau Clipper, at a brokerage in Croatia.

Having agreed a price of €140,000 he looked for the best way of exchanging and transferring his funds.

He spoke with Alana Parsons at Caxton FX, the currency exchange company, who explained the process and costs.

Graham said “The rate was much better than my bank’s and I was delighted that there were no transfer fees or commissions. Alana was a dream to deal with and made the process very straightforward. We agreed the exchange over the phone, and the money was transferred the very next day.”
