Labour Policy

Sat, —I have enjoyed listening to the Television Programme " In the News." 1 have heard one of the Socialist speakers, John Hynd, tell us that Socialist policy for dealing with the Cost of Living included " Increase or continuation of the food subsidies " and " higher wages." May I ask, as one of the 30-million-odd voters who may vote this year, if official Labour policy involves increase of subsidies and abandoning the wage freeze? Perhaps one of the Socialist readers who peruse your columns could enlighten me on this matter.—Yours sincerely,
