If we thought there was the least probability of our readers attempting the perusal of them, we would, by way of warning, utter a vigorous protest against the author's method, his manners, and his morals. But we feel it would be superfluous. We should, however, like to address the second clause of the title to the publisher,—" What can be the object of it ?"
