Chapel three, Board trio

At this point, things could start going wrong. It seems most unlikely to me that any sixteen journalists, let alone sixteen left-wing, political, literary, conspiratorial, back-scratching, committed, and uncommitted, journalists, would ever be able to forgo the delights of a series of votes. What happens if there is a tied vote? Does Alan Watkins take the chair, or Tom Baistow? But let us suppose that the chapel, sooner or later, agrees on its candidate. What then?

Well, what happens then is the Chapel Three rejoin the Board Trio with their candidate. Supposing the Board Trio agree, then the preferred candidate's name then goes before the full Board. If they do not agree, do the Chapel Three go back to the full chapel? or does Jock Campbell exercise a casting vote on the selection committee? Doubtless, the rules will be made up as they go along.
