On the 30th April, on board the Chtlde Harold, on his passage home from Bombay, Captain James Sims Unwin, of the Bombay Artillery ; in his 35th year.

On the 9th June, at Hursole, near Ahmedabad, James Wedderburn Hope, Esq., Lieu- tenant and Adjutant Twenty-sixth Bombay Native Infantry, sixth son of Sir John Hope, Bart., M.P., of Craighall. On the lOth August, at Menadarva, in the parish of Camborne, Miss Elizabeth Jeffree in her 102d year. Her hearing was good, and she could see to thread the finest needle.

On the 12th, at Barham Wood, Herts, Margaret, daughter of the late Sir John Halkett, Bart., of Pitfirrane, Fifeshire. On the 13th, at Stowmarket, Esther, Relict of the late Samuel Burch, Esq., of the same place ; in her 91st year.
