Lodge's Peerage. (Kelly's Directories. 21s. net.)—" Peerage," it must be

understood, comprehends Baronetage and Knightage. " Lodge," now appearing for the seventy-seventh time, is so well known a book of reference that it is needless to praise it. One point, however, may be noticed,—the effective way in which the armorial bearings of the families recorded are given. The biographical details seem to be as careful as usual.—From the same publishers we have also received Kelly's Handbook to the Titled, Landed, and Official Classes (16s.), a work alphabetically arranged, and containing, one may conjecture, some fifteen thousand names, the names, in fact, of every one who is anything.
