Proceedings of the National Rifle Association for 1878. (Harrison and

Johnson.)—In this, the nineteenth annual statement and report, we are told that in 1878 the excess of receipts over expenditure was such as to enable the committee to add to the funded property of the Association, and that its popularity with the Volunteers is steadily increasing. The averages of the shooting for four of the principal prizes were also an advance upon those of 1877.
