[To THE EDITOR OF THE "Sreare.Toa."3 Sin,—The cock-birds here in Gloucestershire are always called "Toms," whether clacks, fowls, turkeys, or any other birds. The name is also applied to male rabbits, ferrets, &c., and, I think, is generally used in the South of England.—I
