MR. NASH'S WINDSOR CASTLE.

While the Sovereigns of France, Russia, and Saxony, were visiters at Windsor Castle, Mr. Nash had access to make a painted record; and the product is a set of twenty-five drawings in water colours. They are cha- racterized by all the artist's exactness, force, taste, and life. Passing from picture to picture, in effect you are conducted through the state-rooms and sitting-rooms of the Castle-not deserted, as they would be to any one going to;view the actual place, but peopled by the royal inmates. Other views represent the exterior of the Castle, its grounds and courts. One is a beautiful scene by moonlight, with lights in the windows. The Queen is seen, successively, in her private sitting-room, with a cradle by her-in her library-at the head of the banquet-table in St. George's Flan; Prince Albert is riding out to a review with the Emperor Nicholas; Louis Phi- lippe is receiving the City Deputation; here a little Prince is at play, there walking in the grounds. The drawings are now exhibited by Mr. WLean,in the Haymarket. They are in they engraver's hands; and the prints will be Coloured- in exact resemblance to the originals. The result will be a book to beatify every loyal subject and every lover of gossip-a veritable peep into Windsor Castle. as it is when the Queen is there.
