A little book of Memorials of Robert Hugh, Benson, by

various writers, has just been published (Burns and Oates, 2s. 6d. net). The first part contains some personal recollections by Mrs. Warre Cornish, which appeared originally in the Ihatin Review. This will be read with especial pleasure by Father Benson's admirers on account of its description of his life at home. Mr. Shane Leslie, in the second part of the book, gives a narrative of "The Cambridge Apostolate "—the four years during which Father Benson sought to bring his influence to bear upon the younger generation at the Univer- sity. Finally, there are some miscellaneous "anecdotes" by Mr. Richard Bowden, which help to give a vivid impression of Father Benson's personality. The book is illustrated with a number of excellent photographs.
