The Accounts of the Liverpool and London and Globe ,Insurance Company also are excellent and, with the exception of one year, constitute, I believe, the best records in the history of the Company The Fire Premiums amounted to

-14,928,000 and Underwriting Profit was 1218,000 or 4.4 per cent. The total Premiums of the Company amounted to £10,039,000 and- net Underwriting Profit to £420,000. The total Interest, including Life and Leasehold Redemption Account, was £452,000, Dividend per share 22s. against 20s. At the annual meeting a 'welt-merited tribute was paid to the management.
